Our Alumni Homecoming Weekend always coincides with the Fête des Vendanges. A weekend of unforgettable events and activities is planned for all alumni, plus special recognition of the 1963 and 1973 grads.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2012
Boat Cruise to St. Peter’s Island
11:40 am to 4:00 pm – $65 per person (does not include lunch)
In 2012, Switzerland celebrates the 300th anniversary of the birth of Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the world-renowned writer, philosopher, educator, naturalist and composer. For two months in 1765, Rousseau stayed on St. Peter’s Island. Walk in the great philosopher’s footsteps as your guide tells you about the history of this beautiful place and why Rousseau is still revered today. There is time to explore on your own before our minibus returns you to the College for the Welcome Reception.

Treasure Hunting in Le Landeron
10 am to 3:30 pm – $50 per person
Since 1973, Fête de la Brocante has taken place in Landeron and it has become the largest antique fair in Switzerland. Le Landeron is just a 15-minute drive from Neuchâtel, so we will have lots of time to browse, shop and explore this picturesque medieval town.
Hotel DuPeyrou Alumni Dinner
6:30 to 9:00 pm – $100 per person, all inclusive
Enjoy traditional Swiss specialties and a glass or two of local wine with your classmates in this beautiful building, surrounded by French-style formal gardens. Built between 1765 and 1770 as a residence for Pierre-Alexandre DuPeyrou, the Hotel DuPeyrou, with its superb chef and excellent menu, is the perfect setting for our Neuchâtel reunion.
